This gorgeous carnival glass plate, by Fenton, is number 5 in a series of 12 commemorating Christmas in America. This plate is The Nation's Church and a part of several series of limited edition carnival glass plates that began production in 1970 (the molds were destroyed at the end of each plate's year). While the item does come in a box, the box may not be original to the piece.

Measurements ~ approximately 8" across.
Pattern / Dates ~ late century; c1974.
Fenton, one of the most famous American glass houses, was founded in Ohio in 1905, moved to West Virginia in 1907, and ceased its traditional glass making in 2011.
Hallmarks ~ signed and tagged, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use.
