This gorgeous, hand-embroidered, silk textile from Hungary was done by the Matyo people, designed with a satin stitched, traditional floral motif, and finished with silk fringe on 3 sides.
Measurements ~ approximately 21" x 15" with a 3" fringe.
Dates ~ c1930.
Hallmarks ~ unsigned/untagged as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use, and displays fantastically.
Item is creased from storage, could stand to be dry-cleaned, and needs pressing.
