This fabulous, and large, tablecloth by Startex is decorated with a Mexican/South American pottery market scene, in which the middle is decorated with a person sitting on a sarape and selling pottery. The borders of the table cloth are decorated with people bringing more pottery to the market, either on their head, or in their cart that is pulled by cattle. This piece is done in red, greens, blacks, and yellows, and is finished in white linen.
Measurements ~ approximately 53.5" x 67".
Dates ~ mid century, c1960.

Condition ~ Great: pre-owned vintage/antique. As can be seen in the pictures, there is light staining (the worst of which is the 2nd to the last picture), and there is a section of "serged" hem. Otherwise, this piece shows little evidence of age or use and displays wonderfully on the table.
Notes on Condition of Linens ~ Linens offered here are more than 20 years old and have been loved. While linens are clean, they not been recently laundered, spot treated, or pressed prior to shipping. Linens may be creased from storage. These great old beauties may just need a little TLC.
