Vintage Jewelry by Kenneth J. Lane ~ Undersea Necklace & Earring Totally 80s Designer Fashion Jewelry
Kenneth J. Lane is known for quality, creativity, and collectability, and this demi parure is no exception. Done for Avon, and known as Undersea, this fantastic pendant/necklace combination is executed with 2 stunning beaded strands that are accented with a golden shell that is decorated with crystal rhinestone chatons. This set is absolutely spectacular!
Several sellers online have the original paperwork for this set and it shows that this jewelry can be worn 6 different ways. Pictured are the torsade, the torsade with shell focal, the simple necklace, and the lariat. Not pictured is the use of the shell focal as a scarf slide and the dangling pendant. The demi parure includes the 2 stranded necklace, the shell focal, and matching, pierced earrings.
Measurements:
- chain ~ approximately 36"
- pendant ~ approximately 2" x 1.25"
- earrings ~ approximately 1.25" x 0.75"
Dates ~ c1989. While this Hallmark was in use c1987-2001, Undersea was part of Avon's 1989 Jewelry Collection.
Hallmarks ~ signed, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This jewelry appears to be in unworn condition and shows little evidence of age or use. This jewelry wears phenomenally!
